A multinational technology company that has partnered with Beyondsoft since 1998.

The challenge

The client needed to transition its integrated system-testing operations to Singapore and Malaysia while maintaining established test-lab, security and operational standards.

The transition took place during the COVID-19 period, when movement restrictions and workplace limitations created additional complexity. Beyondsoft needed to complete knowledge transfer, establish the required testing environment and mobilise the right talent without affecting the agreed transition timeline.

The new environment required a certified test lab, isolated network infrastructure, specialised test chambers and electrical capacity to support different testing requirements.

Our approach

Beyondsoft established a structured transition programme covering knowledge transfer, lab readiness, security requirements and resource planning.

The team used a remote test-management approach to support training and coordination across locations. In Singapore, Beyondsoft combined its existing talent pool with targeted recruitment to fulfil the required roles.

The delivery included:

• Establishing functional and reliability testing environments
• Upgrading electrical infrastructure to support both 110V and 230V requirements
• Coordinating the installation of a climatic walk-in test chamber
• Meeting the required test-lab security and certification standards
• Conducting training through remote test-management practices

The outcome

The integrated system-testing environment was operational within six months of the transition.

The client gained a more consolidated testing process, streamlined documentation and greater flexibility to draw on support from Beyondsoft testing teams across the region.
