Beyondsoft Explores How to Scale Enterprise AI Across Asia
Beyondsoft brought together enterprise leaders and Senior Minister of State Tan Kiat How to discuss what it takes to move AI from pilot projects into everyday business operations.
Beyondsoft hosted an exclusive roundtable at Business China’s FutureChina Global Forum 2026 on 25 September, exploring the practical challenges of scaling enterprise AI across Asia.
The session featured Guest of Honour Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Ministry of National Development. Ariel Lin, Vice President and Head of Innovation Lab & AI Practice at Beyondsoft, moderated the discussion.
Start with Business Priorities
Participants highlighted the importance of grounding AI initiatives in clearly defined business problems and opportunities. Successful adoption requires a direct connection between the use case, corporate strategy and the outcomes an organisation wants to achieve.
Moving beyond a pilot also requires teams to address operational bottlenecks and disconnected workflows. The discussion emphasised a step-by-step engineering approach, with persistent effort to resolve obstacles as implementation progresses.
Build the People and Governance to Scale
Leadership support and cross-functional capabilities emerged as essential foundations for enterprise AI. Organisations need both executive commitment and teams equipped to bring AI into existing business processes.
Practical governance is equally important. Clear accountability and risk management help organisations manage adoption as AI becomes more closely integrated into daily operations.
The 60-minute exchange brought together perspectives from several sectors. Manufacturers discussed scaling AI while progressing with Industry 4.0 automation, while construction firms explored AI and robotics as potential responses to labour challenges. Mr Tan also shared experience of AI adoption and governance in healthcare.

Take the Next Step Towards Enterprise AI
The discussion reinforced that scaling AI requires sustained attention to business needs, people, workflows and governance.
For organisations assessing their next step, a clearly defined problem statement or operational bottleneck provides a practical starting point.
